TV comic first appeared in (9th Nov 1951) and ran for 1697 issues until (29th June 1984).

Over the years a number of 'TV' related comics mereged with the title including: TV Express (13th Jan '62), TV Land (20th Jan 1962), TV Action (22th Sept '73), Tom & Jerry Weekly (10th Aug '74) and Target (19th Aug 1978).
