Film Fun started in 17th Jan 1920 and ran for 2225 issues until 8th Sept 1962.

over the years a number of issues have merged with this title...

 

Picture Fun - (31st July 1920)

Kinema Comic - (22nd Oct 1922)

Film Picture Stories - (23rd Feb 1935)

illustrated chips or 'Chips' - (19th Sept 1953) - no content trasfer, in name only on the cover (why bother?)

Top Spot - (23rd Jan 1960)

 

As a Competition measure the publishers bought out Kinema comic and merged them in 1932.

 

The comic title changed to Film Fun & Thrills on 13th Jan 1959

 

They merged with Buster comic in 26th Feb 1961

 

Between the years 1959 to 1961 Superman reprint newspaper strips appeared.
