Marvel UK weekly comics

In 1972 the British publishing arm of Marvel comics was created forming The Mighty World of Marvel. A few weeks later The Spider-Man Comics Weekly was released. Later publications included, The Avengers, Dracula Lives, Planet of the Apes, The Savage Sword of Conan, The Super-Heroes and  The Titans. Many other reprint issues where formed.

Things changed when Captain Britian Weekly was launched with original material. Star Wars Weekly was launched soon after the film with the titles changing to The Empire Strikes Back weekly then finally changing to Return of the Jedi.

Some of the Marvel UK comics came with centrefold posters. These are only included in this list if they are glossy inserts rather than centre page colour stapled posters. Although the comic itself would be incomplete without this stapled poster, we have not deemed it as a stand alone free gift such as a badge, mask or stickers.
