In the year 1940, The Boy's Friend Library was renamed with the title spilt between 'The Boys' Friend Knock-Out Library' and 'The Boys' Friend Bulls-Eye Library'.
Eventually 'The Boys' Friend' was dropped from the title, leaving Knock-Out and Bulls-Eye Library titles.
The original numbering continued through both titles.
